Starting the Afrikaans (af) Translation Team

Hi,

I checked the KDE localization team list and noticed that there is
currently no active translation team for Afrikaans (ISO code: af).I am
writing to ask if anybody is currently working on Afrikaans behind the
scenes, or if anyone would be willing to join the effort? If the language
is completely unmaintained, I would like to officially volunteer to start
the team and act as the coordinator.

I have experience translating open-source projects and would love to bring
KDE Plasma to Afrikaans speakers.

If there are no objections, could you please advise on the next steps for
setting up the necessary infrastructure and adding me to the language team
page?
