Edit a document that is longer than the number of lines displayable at a time.  Then go to the last line of the file.  If you create new lines at that point, the current-line highlight will delete from the previous line.  This creates a light-blue background at the end.  If you scroll up so the end of the file isn't displayed and then scroll back down, the background turns back to its normal color.
