Package: kate Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.0.1 ) Severity: crash Installed from: RedHat RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Redhat strait out of the box... I have been using Kate to do PL/SQL editing and loving it except every half hour or so program dies unexepectedly. Possible potential issues. I have dozens of files open at any given time. Many I am saving to an XFSamba mounted share. Crashes most often when I try to save a file. Since I am in the end plugging these critters in on a windoze box I have been defaulting all of the windows to DOS/Windows format. A feature I really wish you could set as default for all windows at times. I get the KDE crash guard popping up telling me Kate crashed and Kate goes away.
