Package: kate Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.0.3 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Gentoo Compiler: gcc version 3.1.1 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-gentoo-r7 OS/Compiler notes: Not sure if this applies to all close file dialogs in kate, so I'll describe how I encounter the problem: 1. Open file in kate. 2. Make edits. 3. Select Ctrl-A to select all text. 4. Select Ctrl-X to cut text. 5. Select Ctrl-W to close current file. Problem encountered: I get a yes/no dialog and I'd like to just press "Y" but this doesn't work in the dialog. You have to select Alt-Y. I'm sure it's possible to also support standard Y/N keys in Y/N dialogs, and I'm hoping at least one Kate developer agrees :) (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog) (Complete bug history is available at http://bugs.kde.org/db/47/47164.html)
