Package: kate Version: KDE 3.0.7 Severity: normal Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc-2.95.3 OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified The "functions" i succeed to add to the toolbar in the "Toolbar configuration" box doesn't appear on the real toolbar if they don't have an icon in the "Toolbar configuration" box. Perhaps it would be better if a "neutral" button appeared if no icon is attributed, because in facts, new functions can't be used exept when icons are used with text in the toolbar. Other point probably related? The "Kate" and the "KatePartView" are not very explicit names and it's hard to figure what is the differences between them. Moreover, figuring is more difficult since icons and functions sometimes appear in "Kate" list, sometimes in "KatePartView" list, and since functions are completely mixed in the "real" toolbar.
