Hi Moritz, 
   
It is important that you are using the latest version from CVS, because much   
of the scrolling and visibility code has been altered since, including fixing 
this case.  In fact, this feature is not included by the beta 2 CVS tag, so it 
would seem SUSE have taken a more recent version and packaged that as beta 2. 
  
Please update kdelibs/kate/part.  If you can still reproduce this, re-open the  
bug ;)
