The switch to the release service/KDE Gear is independent of having people 
working on creating AppImages. Sadly there is no-one currently around working 
on that, thus already 5.6.2 has been missing an AppImage version :(

Milian is known as the last person trying to get that rolling again (but found

Sp this is a task waiting for someone who wants a new challenge and give back 
to the community :)
