Annoying Random Paste Error In Editor

Hello,

I am using KDevelop Version 5.12.230805 (23.08.5) on KUbuntu 24.04.

For the most part it works fine and I am happy with it as an IDE.

There is one annoyance that I have seen in both KDevelop and Kate editors.

When I am editing in the KDevelop IDE, occasionally the editor pastes 
random blobs of clipboard data into my code.

I then get compile errors and find, sometimes multiple, rogue bits of 
text pasted in various parts of my file.

I am wondering if there is a setting that I am missing or if this is a 
known issue with the editors in KDE ( KDevelop & Kate ).
