There is a rewrite of Dolphin's search UI on the way which should make this
level of troubleshooting redundant.
You don't need to use Baloo unless you have built your workflows around tags
(and use Dolphin's tag folders). If you don't run it you will notice searches
being slower and not find results within documents, pdfs etc. But if it is
giving you trouble you can disable it...
