Bug ID: 501730
Summary: Dolphin teleports the scrolling to where the replaced
files were while under Sorting:Newest First
Classification: Applications
Product: dolphin
Version: 24.12.3
Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
1- Have a folder with many files sufficiently enough to gain a scrollbar.
2- Sort the files with Newest First.
3- Replace an old file with an identical new copy.
Result:
Dolphin teleports to where the replaced files would have been, which makes no
sense outside of the default ABC sorting.
Expected results:
Dolphin should teleport to the replacements when under the sorting of Newest
First, to avoid teleporting to a seemingly random place.
