One of the two bugs that have been marked as duplicates was opened by me and
that crash happened when the remote side blocked an in progress copy a file.

However, there is a general issue that I've always been encountering on KDE:
when a filesystem becomes unresponsive or slows down severely, the entire
desktop environment appears to freeze.

I can reliably reproduce the issue with KDE Connect because, at least on my
Android device, when sleeping (screen off) remote access slows down to a halt.
