SUMMARY
Since dolphin version 24.12.3 new style of the location bar was introduced. The
individual folders in the filepath closely resemble the tabs that are just in
the bar bellow. This is causing confusion in clicking on a different folder in
the filepath instead of clicking on different tab and vica versa.  
Please bring back the older style that was used till 24.12.2 (or somehow adjust
the current style so it is clearly distinguishable from the tab bar).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Open several tabs with some longer filepaths and try to navigate in it on
regular bases.
I use Breath Dark theme, but I think it affect all the themes.
