My apologies. That command should be

cat ~/.config/baloofilerc

> pgrep -fla baloo: Nothing comes up

It looks like the baloo service isn't running, and that's why search in Dolphin
isn't working (despite having reinstalled it)

You can check the status with

balooctl6 status

It may take a minute, but it will show output. It should say Baloo File Indexer
is running
If it indicates it's disabled, re-enable it with

balooctl6 enable

Then try searching in Dolphin again
