I can no longer produce that bug, but I have a different bug now.
While searching for Indexed folders, If I want to search for a file
"qiskit_test.py"  
I can only search for single words. either "qiskit"  or "test" or "py"  
I can't search for "qiskit test", "qiskit py" etc. (no files are shown)
A workaround I found is that if I instead search for file contents instead of
file name, then searching 
displays the correct files ("qiskit test" shows "qiskit _test.py"
