Hello,
I'd like to report a bug in Dolphin that occurs after changing the click
behavior in KDE System Settings to “single-click to open files and folders”.

In Details View, there's an intermittent issue:
When clicking on a single file, other files-sometimes above or next to the
target-also get selected, as if Shift or Ctrl were being held down, even though
they are not.

This behavior does not happen every time, but frequently enough to be
disruptive when trying to work efficiently with files.

Steps to reproduce:

Open System Settings → General Behavior → Enable “Single-click to open”

    Launch Dolphin

    Switch view to Details

    Click on any file

Expected result:
Only the clicked file is selected

Actual result:
Occasionally, multiple files are also selected - including ones above or
previously selected - without modifier keys

Additional notes:
This issue only affects Details View. Other views such as “Icons” and “Compact”
behave as expected. The problem started after upgrading to Plasma 6 and using
current Dolphin packages from Debian Unstable.

Please investigate and resolve this issue, or suggest a reliable workaround.
Thank you for your attention.
