https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503456 --- Comment #11 from John Kizer <[email protected]> --- Ah - it *sounds* like the application you're using to access an Open/Save dialog uses the GTK/GNOME dialogs, rather than the desktop environment native dialogs - ones like Firefox and Thunderbird seem to use the GTK ones by default.
