I forget to mention: this doesn't happen all the time when renaming folders; I
also did sessions where everything works well with renaming.

My guess is: when I change some system settings before I start renaming then it
will happen.
In the reported case I changed the occurance of my task bar.
In other cases I try out if the behaviour changes when I uses the sorting order
for all windows (it does not).

In fact I'm new to plasma and still try to figure out what fits best to me.
