I've installed KMail 3.5.6 and seen the implementation of this request.  The implementation looks very good!

Only one small bug (should this go as a new bug?), in that when there are matches for a name in an ldap server and in the loacl address book, the local address book has as its title "resource name", which I think should be "Local Address Book".
