The digikam feature is nice, but it should work with drag and drop, I mostly get this scenario.
1. Someone sends me email about subject A
2. I open KPhotoalbum vind pictures about Subject A
3. Open with krita, resize, save to /tmp
4. Repeat when multiple foto's are concerned
5. Attach in mail
Skipping step 3 and 4 by just selecting multiple foto's and dragging them to the compose window would be not only saving time, but also make me attach photo's more often.
If we do get a dialog, something like "Small", "Medium" and "Original" would be nice, it would be even nicer if these values can be changed in the configuration screen. Poweruser could change it then, and people who don't care could use the defaults.
