In fact the name was suggested by me and not even sent to this thread iirc, 
and it's not latin either.

OTOH, i agree with both Jaroslav and Casper, calligra may be difficult to 
pronounce and even difficult to spell (Calligra - Caligra), at least in some 
languages.
