The problem is not between koffice 2.3 and calligra 2.4, since calligra is an obvious upgrade path from 2.3, it would be like trying to make kde 4.4 and 4.5 coinstallable. The problem would be between calligra 2.4, and a potential 2.4 released based on further development of koffice/trunk. As to why it is not worth the effort, in the event something get released from koffice/trunk, I find it unlikely that a user would want to have both installed at the same time. All in all, it is a big effort, and it has a near null gain. -- Cyrille Berger Skott
