This release has one commit included that has some nasty side effects according to rex on IRC. He found that documents and templates stopped opening in all applications. Reverting http://websvn.kde.org/?view=revision&revision=1218114 fixed it for him. I'm not sure what others think, its my feeling that this is a showstopper and if this is indeed a bug in our code then I feel we should take some action. Any suggestions?
