Then we should wonder why it is not available to the objectclass: person 
entities as is implicitly documented in the 389DS documentation :

I have two Kolab setups at hand, and in only one of them there's this 
bug. Is it a 389DS bug? Do you have any hint on how to track this nasty 
one down?

Maybe Kolab should consider using another entry for role binding if this 
one is bogus. Wouldn't a group be fit for that?
