hi,
on a fresh kolab 3.2 on debian 7.5 I followed this document to have
multi domain (no alias domain)

http://docs.kolab.org/howtos/multi-domain.html

when I try to create a new user in a different domain form primary (the
one used to configure kolab)

I have the same messages describe in BUG 2989 and mailboxes are not created.

# dpkg -l | grep cyrus
ii cyrus-imapd 2.5~dev2014011701-0~kolab1
  i386 Cyrus IMAP Server

I start kolab-serer in debug mode "-l debug -d 9"

After creating user and the root user folder the system cannot create
additional folder because of a cyrus login failure.

From following debug line I change password with XXXXXX and
authentication string with xxxxxxxxxxxxx for obvious reason.

In imap log there is:

un 30 18:04:04 mail ptloader[8353]: starting: ptloader.c,v git2.5+0
Jun 30 18:04:04 mail imaps[8199]: ptload(): bad response from ptloader

So it seems that Cyrus cannot login to new user if domain is not the
primary.
