Hi! 

Big thanks for the answer! I am really looking forward for a release
(especially Ubuntu packaging) because at the moment I am using a little
self written app on the desktop, which is not integrated well in the
Plasma desktop. 

Sadly KNotes does not work quite well at the moment for note syncing
with KolabNow (images and special characters are not displayed not
correct and it already "destroyed" some notes) and KJots is discontinued
:-(.
