Download and upload file

Hi,
I want to implement a feature,
that is downloading and uploading file via konq-e,
1. for downloading, I plan providing the server's URL
such as http://www.mycompany.com/pub/download.zip, and
then get the whole file.
2. for uploading, I also plan providing the server's
URL and local file's path, and upload the file to the
server.
Also, the server may require authentication by the
specified user name and password.

can anyone help me for this feature?
