A good help might be the following configure-line for konqueror (of  
course, you have to modify the pathes, and platform stuff..):

--prefix=$HOME/konq-embedded-qtopia-studentmate --host=i686-linux
--with-ipv6-lookup=no  --without-xinerama  --enable-scrollbars
