From testing, I got multple konsoles with multiple sessions. all have the issue Newly started konsole processes do not have this problem. Just some ideas, just throwing stuff on the wall to see what sticks: One difference I see: the problematic ones have -session parameter set. Maybe something in the session is causing this? starting a new konsole with one of the existing sessions does not have the issue.
