Just ran into this today. Orca is highly unlikely to read output of any
terminal commands, as in I heard it happen exactly once. I don't even think
backspace announces delete characters and something is making Orca lag but that
could just be my laptop.
A workaround is to install `gnome-terminal` and use that instead, but how
obvious is this to new KDE users?
