[Proposal] rainbowkonsole – randomized color scheme on session start

Hi all,

my name is Thomi (Berlin). I’m living with a chronic illness, so I
might not always be very active on the list, but I’d still love to
contribute something small and fun.

Background: cyber security / penetration testing, with coding
experience. I’m getting into KDE dev now.

Project idea: **rainbowkonsole** – a tiny addon that applies a
different Konsole color scheme each time a new session is opened (to
keep the terminal a bit more lively).

Status: I have a working prototype on KDE neon (Qt6); a Qt5 build is
not working yet. I’d appreciate pointers on:
- the best hook for “new session opened” in Konsole,
- whether this should live as a plugin vs. a small patch in Konsole,
- coding style / contribution guidelines for Konsole.

If helpful, I can share a repo link or a short diff. Thanks a lot for
maintaining Konsole — it’s one of my daily essentials. Looking
forward to your feedback!
