Hi!

If the _binaries_ are in /usr/bin (search for the startkde binary), then the 
prefix is /usr. If your headers are not in <prefix>/include, you can specify 
the header directory with
./configure --includedir=/usr/include/kde.

One warning:
KPovModeler 0.1.1 has a bug in the pattern edit.
Remove the line
if( !m_pDepthEdit->isDataValid( ) ) return false
in pmpatternedit.cpp.
