It doesn't make any difference how complex the calculations are. We would have 
to change every single member variable in every object, all access functions, 
every property edit widget.
I think this would at least double the memory consumption.

That's exactly what we plan.
The CVS already contains a very experimental version. We didn't annouce it yet 
because it is in very early development state and most likely to change.

Parametric CSG is linked with your first point (simple variables and 
calculations) and is not possible at the moment.
