Hi, I'm a lurker, who contributes absolutely nothing to KPM right now. Just thought I should mention that ;) Before I say anything else, I'd like to add that landscapes are a great feature, and I'm really looking forward to using it. I really like the implementation for the most part, too :) Anyway, I was just thinking that the slider seems a little too absolute. I mean, if you set it to maximum, you'll probably need to adjust it later, as soon as you want to work with some other object. If you move to another group of objects, or double the complexity of your scene, you would need to change it again. It might be slow and awkward until you actually get the change done. What if you could set the maximum scene complexity somehow (in terms of total polys, or update time, or whatever), and set the landscape complexity relative to that, or have it automatically adjust based on the (actual, in-context) object visibility level? -- - Lee.
