Hi to all, > > But today I load the sources from cvs, the compilation works fine, but > > the linker wants to link libGL.a static :-( save this below as /usr/lib/libGL.la: start ----> # libGLU.la - a libtool library file # Generated by ltmain.sh - GNU libtool 1.4.2 (1.922.2.53 2001/09/11 03:18:52) # # Please DO NOT delete this file! # It is necessary for linking the library. # The name that we can dlopen(3). dlname='libGLU.so.1' # Names of this library. library_names='libGL.so.1.0.2960 libGL.so.1 libGL.so' # The name of the static archive. old_library='' # Libraries that this one depends upon. dependency_libs='' # Version information for libGLU. current=4 age=3 revision=401 # Is this an already installed library? installed=yes # Files to dlopen/dlpreopen dlopen='' dlpreopen='' # Directory that this library needs to be installed in: libdir='/usr/lib' <---- end perhaps you have to edit the filenames, so that this fit your needs. I use the nvidia.tar.gz (NOT the rpm). The installer from nvidia ( the makefile in the GLX module) deletes the libGL.la but did not create a new one. But I don't know if it works on your system, it's just a little hack. kevin List archive and information: http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kpovmodeler-devel
