Splash screen and logo for kpm

Hi all,

I'll try to build a splash screen for kpovmodeler within the next few days.

What is the lead time to do it?
What are the dimensions of the picture needed?
What should be the picture type (jpg, png, tga, other?)?

Currently, I've not much idea for a logo, if you have any proposal about this, 
it'd be welcome!
