compile problems with SuSE 9.2

Hallo,

I have tried to compile kpovmodeler on SuSE9.2 system and I get the following 
errors: 

In the file includes from  pmtruetypecache.h:32, from pmtext.cpp:27:
/usr/include/freetype2/fretype/freetype.h:20:2: #error "`ft2build.h' hasn#t 
been inlcudes yet!"
... 21:2: #error "Please always use macro to include FreeType header files."
... 22:2: #error " Example:"
... 23:2: #error " #include  <ft2build.h>
... 24:2: #error " #include FT_FREETYPE_H"
...

I think this is a good error message, but for a Java programmer it is not to 
understand what to do.

It will be nice, if somebody can help me.

Because it has something to do with freetype I had a look at my Linux 
installation. I have installed freetype 2
