Hi. The whole point of Wallace is to append or modify the email body. That should be abundantly clear to anyone. Wether this is desirable or even needed is another thing but this is how things stand. Any issues with Wallace mangling the message body are not actually something that should be addressed as-is. If you need signing or whatnot. You need to take that into account with your main.conf and your signing solution. While Kolab _does_ ease a lot of the things involved with running email (Kolab is the “glue”) it doesn’t remove all the hurdles. This encoding mess is another one of the hurdles you encounter with FOSS software. As unpleasant as it might seem to you, it does require _YOU_ to understand how email works. While the protocol says Simple Mail Transport Protocol, we all know that the reality of things is far from the name.
