Hi Bob, it seems, that the cyrus imapd failed to start. It the central component. Wihtout a running and working imapd, no service could function ! So check the imapd logfiles and report back. Btw. every service can be put in debug mode using the "-d" flag by changing the /etc/default/* defaults file.
