Hi @all,

I hope someone can answer my questions. I have been using Kolab since=20
Kolab 3 in recent years. Now, I would like to switch to Kolab 4, as it=20
is the future. Currently, I use Kolab behind a mail server. This means=20
that Kolab receives emails from some providers (Mittwald, Hetzner, GMX,=20
and Web.de) via fetchmail. In the future, I would also like to add some=20
Gmail and Outlook.com accounts. All emails are sent via their own=20
providers. I use sender_dependent_relayhosts with Postfix for this.

I would now like to recreate this with Kolab 4.
To do so, I installed a VM with Debian 12 on my Proxmox server and=20
connected the VM to the internet via an Opnsense firewall (another VM).
After some issues, Kolab4 is now running stably on a single K3s node (as=
=20
my company grows, I will add at least two more nodes to increase=20
availability).

To add fetchmail, I had to add another deployment set/pod with a=20
fetchmail image and a persistent volume for my fetchmailrc.=20
Additionally, fetchmail must send emails to another mail server (Postfix=
=20
Pod?), not localhost.

Sender_dependent_relayhost should also work, as I will add my own=20
transport_maps, similar to what I am doing now. I have to add it to the=20
Postfix Pod.

Another Problem i found, was that Kolab4 dosn't share Mailfolders with=20
serval Domains.
Let me a little explane: I'm using Domain-a.org for all my=20
User-Accounts. So my users have to login as [email protected]. But they=20
have some shared Mailboxes like [email protected], [email protected] =20
and so on. And the shared Mailboxes are not shown in Roundcube as they=20
are loged-in as [email protected]. ( Access for the Folder is=20
granted/added ).
Only if a add a Useraccount with [email protected], then this user can=20
see the shared mailbox [email protected].
Is there any way to get this work in Kolab4, because it works fine in=20
Kolab16 witch i'm using at the moment.

And last but not least:
I also have a Nextcloud-Storage @hetzner. It would be great, if i could=20
add this as a Storage to Roundcube.
For this, i found https://github.com/nicofrand/Roundav , a fork of=20
Rounddrive but both not working.
I also found a solution for adding some webdav-accounts with chwala and=20
kolabfiles. I tested it in Kolab16 and it works but it was slow.

So, my questions are:

Are I'm on the right way with fetchmail & sender_dependent_relayhosts or=
=20
are there better solutions?

How did I get Access to shared folders across domains?

and how can I get access to my Nextcloud-Server for my attachments &=20
Documents?

Thanks a lot for your replys

Josef
