I agree with martin, it's up to the user to prepare for a presentation and I think the privacy argument in this case is very weak. What I do not like about the translucency effect is, that the background is not blurred. In my opinion, all semi transparent surfaces in breeze should be blurred. And the blurred background would solve the privacy problem too.
