applet...wireless

The only wireless applet I've managed to locate for kde is korinoco and it is 
poorly functional.  No configuration possible, only looks for eth0, eth1, etc 
instead of also including wlan0 for instance.  

Is there another app that will monitor wlan connections and even configure 
basic settings like ad-hoc, channel, etc?
