Syntax Highlighting

Hi,

 

I am a newcomer to Kate, but cannot get my head around syntax highlighting,
I work with GEDCom files and when I use UltraEdit or even Notepad++ the tags
in my gedcom file are highlighted, could anyone help me with this please,
maybe a sample file that I could edit, or maybe someone has already created
one?
