2 seconds on my system.

There is no such delay on my system.

Please try whether disabling desktop effects helps. Maybe the graphics=20
card driver is the problem.

BTW: The easiest workaround for this problem is to avoid the=20
logout/shutdown dialog by using the appropriate keyboard shortcut. Since=20
I discovered that there is a shortcut for immediate shutdown=20
(Shift+Ctrl+Alt+PageDown) I use it almost exclusively when I want to=20
shutdown my system.
