Hi, Thanks for testing the instructions out. I was afraid it might not be ready for public consumption ... I'm also glad to hear that it works with VS.NET. > Ok, I tried it out (with Visual Studio .NET) - and it worked. > Some comments: > item 7. : removed 'libsmokeqt.lib' from the @all_libraries@ entry Hmm.... and it still linked? Was libsmokeqt referenced somewhere else? Could you check the Makefile? When I take it out, I get linking errors refering to qt_Smoke. > item 12.: the patching procedure failed > $ patch -p2 < puic.patch > patching file form.cpp > Hunk #1 FAILED at 476. > 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file form.cpp.rej Ahh, yup. Thanks. I had copied and pasted the patch from a cygwin rxvt window. Must not have got the spacing correct ... I'll have an updated patch on my site soon. You can use the --ignore-whitespace command to patch and it will accept it. The one thing you don't double check always goes rong. You think I'd learnt by now.
