David,
I have Perl-Qt 3.3 up and running now. Just did what you suggested
and hand jammed the changes. Works like a charm now.... Thanks for the
insight.............

(I'm running Fedora Core 2)

Well, I'm now running very happily - I'm bumping up against some
perlqt/ithread issues and the templating problem but the basic
designer/perlqt is fine.

I did have to go to CVS to get it all working - patches including below
and of course the puic ones Alain fixed to avoid the 'too recent version
of Qt Designer'
(I'm running Debian btw)

I also had a designer crashing problem that I traced back to an X bug
(still in conversation - fix for now is not to use italics in the font
highlighting) - what problems are you having exactly?

David
