Issue with CheckTableItem

I too am having issues removing items from tables (as has been well 
documented in the forums for perlQt and is alluded to here by Bernard). 
It was also discussed in an April '04 thread titled "[Kde-perl] Seg 
fault with removeRow from QTable". Has there been any progress dealing 
with this double free issue?
