Hello,
I successfully built perlQt/PerkKDE version 3.009b on SuSE Linux 9.1.
I am using the following:
gcc version 3.3.3
perl version 5.8.3
qt version 3.3.4
kde version 3.4.0
As I said, all compiles OK (despite a ton of compiler warnings about
possibly unused variables--is that normal for perlQt?). When I run the
tests, all but one of them succeeds. Here is the message from the one
that fails:
g_gui................QPaintDevice: Must construct a QApplication before
a QPaintDevice
g_gui................dubious
Test returned status 1 (wstat 256, 0x100)
Scalar found where operator expected at (eval 158) line 1, near "'int'
$__val"
(Missing operator before $__val?)
Failed Test Stat Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
g_gui.t 1 256 ?? ?? % ??
Failed 1/9 test scripts, 88.89% okay. 0/23 subtests failed, 100.00%
okay.
make: *** [test] Error 1
I tried to figure this out myself, but I was just installing perlQt
to try it out -- so I'm not very familiar with it. I am very familiar
with Qt, however.
Any thoughts/suggestions/instruction-on-where-to-go-next would be
appreciated.
