I have a couple of questions about the current state of perlQt, we are
using it heavily on a couple of projects here and are running into some
difficulties. Our apps seem to have huge memory leaks :(
1. Has there been any work on garbage collection recently? It seems
like no garbage collection is occurring in perlQt on our systems,
enabling the gc debug channel creates no output.
2. It also looks like the $qtObj->delete functionality is broken I
keep getting a no method call error when I try to use it :(
I saw that there was a patch put out a while ago to fix a leak that
occurs when a class doesn't have a virtual destructor. Is this patch
still available?? If you can give me any hints they would be greatly
appreciated. I love perlQt, it has certainly made it easier for
non-technical people to interface with our tools, thanks for all your work.
