perlQt for cygwin

Hi,

I'm looking for perlQt for cygwin.  The last
binary is from March 2003.  qt3 is now available
on cygwin, so I thought I could build from the
latest sources.

When I tried, I got stuck at a requirement of KDE
in the build process (confusing since I thought
KDE was built on Qt and not the other way around)
and, as a Qt beginner, I am unable to resolve it.

* Any ideas on how to proceed?

* Has someone already built perlQt on the current
cygwin with the cygwin Qt3?

* Is it really necessary to have KDE in order to
build or use perlQT?
