Synaptic tells me: "Package kdebase-kio-plugins has no available version, but exists in the database. This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents of sources.list" I suppose I could add the hardy/8.04 sources, but I am indeed afraid I can break something serious. (My experience with 8.10 has been pretty rocky so far, I may add.) I suppose I am stuck. I can always use scp frm the terminal, of course.
